Fan Dance Course Dates

Beginners Fan Dance Class (1hr class)

First Sunday of every month 10:30-11:30am


Fan Foundation  (6 wk course) 

JULY: Thursdays 6:30-8pm starts 3rd July

OCT: Tuesdays 7:30-9pm starts 14th Oct


Fan Troupe Choreography + Showcase (4 wk course)

For students who have completed Fan Foundation

NOV: Tuesdays 7:30-9pm starts 25th Nov

Beginners Feather Fan Class | 1hr | £35.00

Curious about feather fan dancing? This fun and welcoming taster class is the perfect place to start! Designed especially for beginners, you’ll learn the basics - graceful movements, elegant poses, and signature fan techniques. No dance experience needed, just your enthusiasm!


Fans provided (You're also welcome to bring your own)

What to Prepare

Bring a bottle of water. Wear anything that is comfortable to move in. Heels optional.

Fan dancing techniques essential for a good foundation in both classic & neo styles.


  • Poses, travelling, expression
  • Fan dance involving striptease, character, style & improvisation elements.

Fan Troupe Choreo & Showcase Performance | 4 Week Course | £200.00

Open to those who have completed the 6-Week Fan Foundation course. 

Learn how to be directed, choreographed and rehearse in the style of a professional dance troupe. Special guest workshops from 2 guests who will also choreograph you in a classic fan troupe extravaganza to be performed at a Soho School of Burlesque Show ⭐️ 


  • Experience being part of a fan dance troupe
  • Rehearse in a friendly but professional setting
  • Prepare for and experience a unique type of burlesque performance.

What to Prepare

Bring a bottle of water. Wear anything that is comfortable to move in. Heels optional. Fans, props & costume elements will be provided (apart from the base layer - you choose/bring your own. We will plan for matching but ensure everyone feels comfortable in their costume)
